Social Commitment

compromiso Social

We are living in a time in history where there are roughly the same number of people with excess weight and obesity than people that are undernourished in the world. We consider it our responsibility to aid in the fight of what can be considered the worst non-contagious pandemic in history: obesity.

Through the LIMARP Foundation, our not-for-profit organization, we want to make it our goal to help underserved communities struggling with obesity and plan on helping guide Mexico away from the top spots in the list of countries with the highest levels of childhood and adult obesity.

Dr. Liza María Pompa has also published her first book, titled “How much does your life weigh?”, which focuses on Obesity, with the determination of doing everything necessary to stop what has become an enormous threat to our health.

We hope that the information you find here helps you learn more about another aspect of LIMARP and about the way Dr. Pompa González supports our community; because our commitment goes well beyond what happens in our clinic.
