At LIMARP, we are not only committed to our patients and to our staff, but also to the medical and surgical community as well. Not only do we help thousands of patients suffering from obesity, we are also a center for medical education that collaborates with both of our local medical schools, the Secretariat of Health and both national and international medical professionals; with ongoing visiting rotations by dietitians, general physicians, general surgeons and specialists in advanced laparoscopic and bariatric surgery.
At LIMARP we fully understand the scope of obesity, we consider it the most important public health issue of the century and are committed to fighting it. Presentation “Remote follow-up of post bariatric surgery patients” transmitted from LIMARP International Center of Excellence for Obesity in Tijuana, México, to the VIII Latin American IFSOLAC Convention in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The innovative LIMARP patient follow-up program was created by our team of experts and was implemented in 2015 as a pilot. It was eventually established permanently and to date has 485 users in 4 continents. The program helps us provide support and follow-up to our patients anywhere in the world through their pre and postoperative phases.
